On December 7th, 1941, 353 Japanese Airplanes attacked Pearl Harbor sinking four U.S. Aircraft carriers, Killing 2,402 Americans and wounding 1,282. FDR called it "A day that will live in infamy". This was a huge part of Americans going into World War 2 against the Japanese.
